A Woman Like You Now Then Series Book 2 eBook Kate Ryan Reviews

First, or firstly, this is an afreakingamazing series!! I loved A Girl Like You and A Woman Like You didn't disappoint me at all.
I've laughed and cried with Amanda through out the book. I feel like I experience her highest highs with her, as well as her lowest lows. I think I even yelled at her a few times as well along her journey. I think I did a happy dance when she ended up with ....., well you'll just have to read to find out who Amanda ended up with.
This is a definite MUST READ!!!!

I received the ARC of the book as well.
Omg. Where do I even start? Without spoilers, the only thing I can say is YES!! If you loved Amanda & her world in book 1, prepare to be absorbed in book 2. As a human being, there's no way you wouldn't relate to these characters. It's one of those series that leaves you wondering what these characters are doing right now because at some point they stop being characters & become your friends. What a journey! Stop reading this right now & start reading A Woman Like You!
A Woman Like You starts in rehab looking back on the life of Amanda as she reflects on how she came to this place. It's a journey of love found and lost through the decades.
Torn between two men, one woman must chose, but has no idea who she is, making the choice more difficult. Uncertain if she is good enough for either man sends her into a downward spiral that she may not be able to recover from. The damage she inflicts on family and friends in her quest for self-awareness may make love an impossibility. Can she get better before she loses the man she has always wanted?
Getting her act together seems easy, but staying on the right path is difficult when life sends curve balls constantly.
The second decade in
This is the second book by the author Kate Ryan. A Woman Like You is continues the story of Amanda Harrington and the reader can follow her story into adulthood since in the second book she is in her twenties.
The first step in overcoming a problem is admitting you have one. This is the case with Amanda as she enters rehab on her own free will. She wants to overcome her problems and the rehab is going to help. The thing about being in rehab is that you have to do a lot of things there, to keep your mind occupied and not thinking about what got you into rehab in the first place. Probably the hardest thing would be to choose to leave your family in order to seek help. It can be hard, especially for young children. But there is nothing wrong in seeking help, especially if the person seeking it was dependent on marijuana. I can’t way I understand everything given I’ve never gone through what Amanda has gone but I can surely feel for her and cheer for the strength she finds. It requires a lot of it to try and change thing. The idea with creating a timeline where you can list the events in your life is great. I think that this way a person can go over everything and find the moment everything went wrong and start from there.
I like the way her relationship with her friends and family is growing. There are two men I’m puzzled about. Max and Shawn. I don’t know why, they both appear cute and nice. I liked the chats she has with Max and the conversations with Shawn. But Tanner was awesome too and I’m not even going to talk about the other guy Braden.
I also like the way the romance scenes are depicted. Without giving away spoilers or going into detail I will say that they are very well crafted. They aren’t anything that you could find in other novel, yet they are still steamy and romantic. And that isn’t easily achieved. I applaud the author for achieving such an astonishingly great work.
There is a point where instead of perceiving the characters as just characters you see them as living people. As people you can actually talk to or listen to their stories. It felt so real in the end it hurt. Not many books can make me cry. But this book succeeded in that department. I haven’t done it in a long time and it was amazing. But enough of that. If you want to know what in the book made me cry I guess you’ll have to go grab it and read it.
Kate Ryan has yet again done an amazing job. She never ceases to amaze me. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I give this book 5 out of 5 start and strongly recommend it.
Oh Kate Ryan, I love Amanda so, SO much! I can identify with her. I can see us being friends. I get her social anxieties and the pressures she places upon herself. She is her own worst critic. I get it because I do those things to myself.

This installment is wonderful. I laughed and cried as I read A Woman Like You. I swore like a sailor at the last page because I want all of this story NOW. Amanda's personal growth is huge. I am thrilled to see that she maintains some relationships and want to shake her for keeping some going... The progression of her relationships with her parents, friends and love interests is interesting and a little like hanging from a cliff--so, authentic.

I enjoy the writing style of Kate. I can see myself chatting with her (which I'd like to do and not just to get the rest of the story from her.) I'll be waiting impatiently for the rest of Amanda's story.
Another great read, I was hooked from the beginning, can't wait for the next one to come out!!
Loved it!
